Intentional Sequencing: Journey to Peak Pose

with Kenny Frisby & Sheri Celentano

We are excited to announce our next 25-hour Advanced Teacher Training focused on sequencing toward a “Peak Pose.” Inspired by the art of Vinyasa Krama, we’ll explore how to thread asanas together to create intelligent and thoughtful sequences for your classes.

Throughout this training, we will examine sequencing through the lenses of accessibility, intention and advanced variations, addressing key questions such as:

  • What does the journey to a comfortable meditation seat look like, and what physical and mental preparation is required for a sustained practice?

  • How can we design peak poses for new practitioners to build confidence and stability?

  • What sequencing choices can help advanced practitioners go deeper into their practice?

  • How does Dharma thread into your classes?

This training is designed for teachers who want to make their classes feel more intentional and for those looking for fresh inspiration for their students.

"The Playful Yogi 200-hour yoga teacher training program was, hands down, the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time. It got me back into my yoga practice at a deeper level than ever before, providing a solid foundation and understanding of yoga philosophy and asana practice. The structure of the program itself is incredibly thoughtful, as it built community among the trainees and teachers (and everyone at PYS!). Each training weekend felt like such a magical experience. If you’re wondering if it’s worth it, it one million percent is!"
